Document Delivery Service Policy

The library will provide document delivery services directly to Fitchburg State students, faculty and staff as noted below. This includes items from our circulating collections and physical materials that are requested through our Interlibrary Loan service.

On-Campus Delivery:

Faculty and staff can request items to be delivered directly to their office on campus.

Off-Campus Delivery Direct to Your Home:

Students enrolled in courses or faculty teaching courses through Distance Learning (online) or at an Extended Campus site can have items delivered directly to their home.

Requesting Document Delivery:

Requests for Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library items and Interlibrary Loan materials will be processed through the ILLiad system. You can set the delivery option when you create your ILLiad account or you can log into ILLiad and click on "Change User Information" and change it at any time. You need to do the following:

  • Under "Preferred Loan Delivery Method (physical items)" select the "Mail to Address" to have items delivered to you instead of picking it up at the Circulation Desk.

  • Under the section for "Location of your current courses (Staff choose Main Campus)" choose:

    • Main/McKay Campus for delivery to your on-campus office
    • Distance Learning/Online if your courses are taught online
    • Extended Campus if your courses are held at one of Fitchburg State's off-campus locations
