General Policy

The Amelia Gallucci-Cirio Library offers a library instruction program to help prepare students to be information literate in the 21st century. The library provides instruction services on a by-request basis. Sessions are tailored for each faculty member's course which can be held in our library classroom, at your location on-campus, at an extended campus location or online through Blackboard. As part of the service, librarians can help faculty with creating effective library and research assignments and can develop course specific research guides. The library also provides faculty the option to partially or fully embed a librarian in their course; availability for an embedded librarian is limited so early scheduling is recommended.

For additional information or questions about the types of sessions and instructional services we provide, contact us at dllibrary@fitchburgstate.edu or see:

Instruction requests can be scheduled using the online request form or by contacting the subject liaison librarian.
