This subseries contains historical and research documents relating to Italian-American War Veterans in Massachusets. During World War about 4,000,000 men and women enrolled in the various branches of the armed forces of the United States. About 700,000 who answered "Here" for the defense of our beloved country were of Italian extraction.
The Italian-American World War Veterans of the United States, Inc., has firmly established its place among other societies of veterans, who acknowledge as their fundamental principle a firm belief and trust in Almighty God, and True allegiance to the United States of America.
