Reserves Desk & Office

Reserves Office is located on the Library - 1st floor in HA-112, behind the Circulation Desk.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

How to...

About the Library Course Reserves Service

The Library provides course reserve services for all on-campus, distance learning and extended campus programs at Fitchburg State. The services are available to any course instructor or student.

Physical Reserves

  • Physical reserve items that can be submitted for student use inllude books (personal copies and/or library copies), CDs, videos, as well as special equipment, such as microscopes
  • Items should be dropped off/picked up at the Circulation/Reserve Desk located on the Library 1st Floor by the entrance
  • Items are stored in the Public Services Office (behind the Circulation/Reserve Desk)
    •  Items are shelved by the requesting instructor name or department
  • Items can be designated as follows:
    • "In Library Use Only" for 2 hours
    • 1 Day Loan
    • 7 Day Loan
  • Students access the physical reserve items by presenting their One Card at the Circulation Desk
  • Reserve items are listed online in the Library's catalog, click on Physical Reserves and search by instructor or course name.
