Search Alerts

Search Alerts will automatically notify you of new content based on a preset search query: subject terms, authors, and keywords. 

Tip: when setting up a search alert, start by creating a strong search in one of the library's databases. If you need assistance contact a librarian!

Setting up Search Alerts in Library Databases

EBSCOHost Databases:

To create a Search Alert in an EBSCOHost Database:

1. Run your search

2. Click the "Share" button on the top right of your search results page.

3. Choose how you would like to receive your alerts: Email or RSS.

Ebsco Search Alert

ProQuest Databases:

To create a Search Alert in an ProQuest Database:

1. Run your search

2. Click the "Save search/alert" button on the top right of your search results page.

3. Choose how you would like to receive your alerts: Email or RSS.

Google Scholar:

To create a Search Alert in Google Scholar:

1. Run your search

2. Select "Create Alert" below the search filters on the bottom left side of the search results page.

3. Enter your email address.
