- Communicate with new librarian to ensure all hiring paperwork is completed.
- Meet with new librarian to discuss benefits, retirement plans, HR policies/procedures, required state ethical training, etc.
Library Dean
- Review job expectations, provide feedback and support on initial goals
Library Program Area Chair
- Introduce the new librarian to the library's Mentoring Program
- Review MSCA contract as it pertains to librarians
- Explain the role of the Library Program Area Chair
