Digital newspapers: Access to The NY Times, The Chronicle of Higher Education and The Wall Street Journal

Fitchburg State University students, faculty and staff members now have access to The Wall Street Journal website through the library. The Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library has a subscription that gives members of the Fitchburg State community full access to the content on the WSJ.com website. Once registered, users can also use their mobile devices to access the The Wall Street Journal

Register for an Account:

NOTE: if you a current subscriber, please contact WSJ Customer service at 1-800-JOURNAL (1-800-568-7625) to cancel your existing subscription prior to signing up for an account through the Fitchburg State University partner link.

  • To set up your Fitchburg State account, go to WSJ.com/FitchburgState, and sign in using your Fitchburg State email address.
  • Complete the Create Account form with your information, using the menu options at the top of the screen to indicate whether you are a student, staff, or faculty member. 
    • When asked to create a password, we recommend using a password different than your Fitchburg State University email password for security reasons.
  • You will see a confirmation screen if you have registered successfully. A confirmation email will also be sent to you.

Enjoy your WSJ.com access! For faculty and staff, this account will last for one calendar year, then the account will need to be renewed using the same process. Student accounts will remain active until their anticipated graduation date plus an additional 90 days, with the option for continuing a subscription at a discounted rate after the 90 day grace period has expired.

Returning Users:

There's no special log in screen once you have activated your account. You can log in right from WSJ.com!

Trouble accessing the sign-up link? Go directly to the WSJ Education Search Page and search for Fitchburg State University, then use your Fitchburg State email to create your account.
