The Library uses the Library of Congress call number system to organize books. This is a subject based system, where books are organized by subject or topic
Each book has a unique identification number (or call number), that starts with a letter or pair of letters. This call number is usually found on spine of the book, at the bottom.
Books are then organized on the shelves alphabetically by call number.
