Education Research Guide

This guide provides resources and information to help you get started with your research projects in the field of education.

Meet with a Librarian

Don't overlook one of your best resources - your Librarians!

Librarians can help you refine a topic, identify keywords, develop a search strategy, and determine which types of resources you need for a variety of research projects, in person and online.

Research assistance from a Fitchburg State librarian is available in person:

  • Monday through Thursday, 9am to 7pm
  • Friday, 9am to 5pm
  • Sunday, 1pm to 8pm

You can get help online through the library's 24/7 chat service on our website and databases, Google Meet, email, or an online appointment.

Are your courses at an Extended Campus location or online? Bring the Library to you!

Distance Learning and Extended Campus Library Services are the same on campus services (borrowing materials, interlibrary loan, library instruction, reference, reserves, etc.) tailored to meet the needs of our students and faculty in our extended campus and online courses/programs. This includes document delivery directly to your home, temporary database login until you receive your Falcon Key and much more.
